Following an invitation from the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Cyprus to observe the 22 May parliamentary elections, ODIHR deployed an Election Assessment Mission.
Parliamentary Elections, 27 May 2001
After the Republic of Cyprus informed OSCE/ODIHR that parliamentary elections will be held on 27 May, ODIHR undertook a Technical Mission to the Republic between 13-16 March. The Technical Mission did not recommend the deployment an election observation mission for these elections.
