Following an official invitation from the Ministry of Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the OSCE/ODIHR deployed an election observation mission to the 23 September 2012 parliamentary elections.

Following an official invitation from Belarus's Foreign Ministry, ODIHR deployed an election observation mission on 15 November to observe the 19 December presidential election.

Following an invitation from the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, ODIHR deployed an election observation mission on 12 August to observe the parliamentary elections on 28 September.
Presidential Election, 19 March 2006
Following an invitation from Belarus's Foreign Minister, ODIHR sent a needs assessment mission on 24 January and subsequently deployed an election observation mission on 7 February to observe the 19 March presidential election.
Parliamentary Elections, 17 October 2004
In response to an invitation from Belarus's Foreign Minister, ODIHR deployed an election observation mission on 2 September to observe the 17 October parliamentary elections.
Presidential Election, 9 September 2001
ODIHR established a limited election observation mission in Minsk on 17 August and shortly thereafter started monitoring the electoral process with 27 experts and long-term observers deployed in the capital and seven regional centers.
