The research analysis to be presented at the round table was prepared by the Public Policy Research Centre, a Belgrade-based think tank. This is the final outcome of the OSCE supported project, "Vulnerable groups and security sector reform: What the case study of LGBT tells us about SSR in Serbia?"
The main aim of the project was to provide an analysis of sexual minority groups’ perceptions including lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans-sexual people (LGBT) and their position vis-à-vis a state security structure, notably the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The analysis provides an overview of key perceptions and issues related to sexual minority groups in their interaction with the state security actors. Representatives of relevant security sector institutions, LGBT organizations and experts will take part in this presentation.
