This event is part of a series of rountables organized to share good practices in enhancing the implementation of the preventive aspects of the Terrorist Bombing Convention adopted under the auspices of the United Nations in 1997 and to which 57 OSCE participating States are party.
These roundtables bring together experts from legislative bodies, law enforcement, agriculture, trade, industry, and mining sectors (public and private), and international organizations. Discussions focus on the control of explosive substances of legal use and chemical substances (like fertilizers) used frequently by terrorists in improvised explosive devices.
