The OSCE Mission in Kosovo invites you to apply for a five-month apprenticeship programme for 30 young persons between the ages of 20 and 24, in close co-operation with local government institutions and partner Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). The programme aims at bringing young women and men closer to local government institutions and relevant CSOs directly involving them in local participatory processes, as well as decision and policy-making processes. The execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights represents a significant and complex process that involves numerous actors involved in the execution itself or in the supervision of the execution, which may complicate and slow down the implementation of any measures and activities that should lead to the effective execution of the judgments. The training curricula was developed in co-operation with the national Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors (AJPP). It was specifically designed for the current and future judges and public prosecutors attending training at the AJPP. Not available in English.

The publication was developed in co-operation with the national Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors. It analyzes the individual measures of execution of judgements European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR). The publication focuses on re-examination of a case or a reopening of proceedings following judgment of the ECtHR under which a violation of the European Convention of Human Rights is established, as one of the means to achieve the so- called restitutio in integrum. It analyzes the general execution measures and evaluates the current situation with the execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in cases against North Macedonia. It also identifies the changes, which have been done or are yet to be done as part of the process of execution of those judgments, detecting the key challenges in practice. Not available in English.

It offers a general overview of the process of execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR): it explains the role of the Committee of Ministers at the Council of Europe; elaborates on the so-called general and individual measures of execution and reviews the national legal framework concerning the execution of judgments of the ECtHR. The booklet on “Women’s Inheritance Rights” is designed to raise awareness among the general public, including women from rural communities and relevant institutions about women’s inheritance rights. Based on the feedback received during the Mission’s workshops on women’s property rights in 2021 and 2022, the Mission gathered a series of common issues in the implementation of women’s inheritance rights. The booklet responds to these issues by explaining the legal framework in a simplified and relatable manner, illustrating them through sample cases in the format of frequently asked questions and informing affected women, family members and civil society organizations about actions they can take to protect and enforce women’s inheritance rights.

Tool 4- for Civil Society- explores the role that civil society and women’s movements can play in combating violence against women in politics.

This report explores the nature, scope and scale of the restrictions that have been imposed on the right to freedom of peaceful assembly in OSCE participating States and analyses them in light of the established standards related to the right to peacefully assemble. These have been developed and refined over many years by bodies such the United Nations, ODIHR and the Council of Europe through the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights.
