Best practices and perspectives is a compilation of all presentations given at the 9th South Caucasus Media Conference, organized by the Representative’s office, which brought together international and local experts from three South Caucasus participating States of the OSCE. This publication is designed to serve as a record of the events of that conference and is intended for journalists, government and regulatory officials and students.

From traditional to online media: Best practices and perspectives is a compilation of all presentations given at the 14th Central Asia Media Conference, organized by the Representative’s office, which brought together international and local experts from five Central Asian participating States of the OSCE. This publication is designed to serve as a record of the events of that conference and is intended for journalists, government and regulatory officials and students.

The 2013 Social Media Guidebook explores the potential and the challenges of social media and the right to freedom of expression as new media develop. The authors address contemporary issues affecting journalism and media in general. For journalists, consultants, regulatory officials and undergraduate and graduate students.

This guidebook tackles the issue of media self-regulation in the digital world. It is an effort to show the need for ethical standards in the Internet era and illustrate with specific examples how self-regulation mechanisms can protect media freedom in the digital age.

This book contains papers from the international and regional experts who spoke at the at the 13th Central Asia Media Conference Dushanbe, Tajikistan 29-30 November 2011, as well as additional matters, including the agenda and conference declaration.
