The OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and international NGO “Universal examination network” conducted a research on the quality of law schools in Ukraine. The comprehensive analysis is based on open source-data of admission campaigns for the Master of Law 2017, and partly 2016 and for Bachelor of Law programmes 2013, and partly 2012. It provides analysis of the quality of educational services provided by law schools; the ability of law schools to develop educational potential of students; the quality of skills and knowledge gained by students depending on the form of education, type of higher education institutions, methods of financing, etc. The research can be used to further improve the state policy on higher legal education and education itself.

Civil protection and counteraction to potential chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats are of high priority and largely rely on inter-agency co-operation. This manual was written as an easy step-by-step guide for first responders responsible for tackling chemical emergencies. The manual consists of three sections: algorithm of actions including emergency zoning, decontamination practices and supporting information in section three which gives useful guidelines for rescuers during onsite operations. The best available chemical emergency response documents existing in Poland, the United Kingdom and the United States were reviewed whilst preparing the manual. Approaches outlined in this manual can be applied in emergencies of biological and radiological origin. The manual is available in Ukrainian only.
