This guide helps journalists to report more effectively from courts in a professional manner and in line with codes of journalism ethics and conduct, and related court reporting sensitivities, protection of privacy, legal and normative frameworks while upholding ethical standards and appropriate context by holding institutions of justice to account. With an overall aim to provide the journalists with a solid guide that facilitates their reporting from the institutions of justice and the media with a solid foundation to shape public discourse and foster policy change, the guidelines include an overview of the relevant legal framework, institutions of justice, and court reporting. The guide is available in Albanian, Serbian, and English.

The Analysis on Mental Health of Journalists in Serbia was drafted by the Working Group consisting of four journalists and a psychologist, with the OSCE Mission to Serbia’s support. The main source for collecting data was a pilot survey conducted with the assistance of journalists and media associations (UNS, NUNS, NDNV, ANEM, AM, Prouns, and Sport’s Association of journalists) that provided a factual insight into the degree of presence and sources of stress and professional burnout that journalists encounter in their daily work. The results of this survey will serve as a base for defining concrete activities and projects that will help journalists coping with the challenges threatening their mental and physical health.

The OSCE Mission to Montenegro supported the development of the RTCG Digital Transformation Strategy 2023-2027, by engaging an external consultant Dragana Janinović. Radio and Television of Montenegro has successfully performed the role of the public service media of Montenegro for several decades, changing and evolving together with society. New ways of information exchange, technology, transfer and use of data, open up a completely new sphere of possibilities. The need for digital transformation of the Public Service is unquestionable and should be seen as an opportunity to redefine its role and the way it serves the citizens of Montenegro.

This research was conducted to determine how Montenegrin citizens perceive the transparency and openness of the State Prosecution Service, with a focus on the implementation of the Communication Strategy and action plans. In addition, the research included topics related to citizens’ perception of trust in the work of the State Prosecution Service in Montenegro, especially the Special State Prosecution Office, as well as the visibility and availability of information to all interested public about the work of the judicial institutions.

In order to provide support to the Agency for Electronic Media of Montenegro (AEM), the OSCE Mission to Montenegro commissioned and the DeFacto agency conducted a quantitative survey. The aim of the research is to examine media literacy among parents and children in Montenegro, how they choose media content and, in general, habits related to the adoption of information obtained from different sources.
