Launch of the HCNM Tallinn Guidelines on National Minorities and the Media in the Digital Age

The launch event was organized by the HCNM in co-operation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia, and took place in Tallinn on 13 February 2019. The OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, H.E. Ambassador Lamberto Zannier, opened the event and presented the Tallinn Guidelines as part of a High Level Introductory Panel together with H.E. Kersti Kaljulaid, President of the Republic of Estonia, and H.E. Sven Mikser, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia. The introductory remarks were followed by a lively, interactive expert discussion on best practices and challenges related to the role of the media and information technologies in diverse societies.
