“Imagine a Day Project” in Kosovo
Video Clip
Twenty-four young professionals from all communities in Kosovo were trained, coached and guided to use culturally-appropriate art performances as means to foster social cohesion and justice between communities, as part of the “Imagine a Day Project”, supported by the OSCE Mission in Kosovo and implemented by the University of Northampton. The young educators, activists, volunteers and community workers, built their capacities in drama techniques and performance-based methodologies through train the trainers’ activities and workshops to advocate and influence their immediate social environment. In 2017, the Mission intends to further utilize the results of this project by including it as a regular extra-curricular school activity in pilot municipalities.

Let’s Challenge Stereotypes
Video Clip
Why is it important to challenge stereotypes and prejudices? Counter hate speech? Promote critical thinking? The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina works with young people from all over the country, encouraging them to hear the opinions of others and take notice of inequality and discrimination in all contexts. These high school students participated in a Youth Summit on the role of young people in countering violent extremism. With the support of expert facilitators, they developed new perspectives on the phenomenon of violent radicalization and brainstormed with their peers from all over the country about actions that can be taken to prevent and counter this threat.
