Closing Impunity Gap- Bosnia and Herzegovina ACTing
Video Clip
"Closing the impunity gap is a task that falls chiefly to national jurisdictions in this region and requires that international humanitarian law and international criminal law be implemented domestically. National judges and prosecutors have the daunting task of ensuring that those responsible for crimes committed during conflict are held accountable by fair and effective trials."- Fletcher M. Burton, Head of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina

Roma Women and Elections
Video Clip
BiH is scheduled to hold General Elections in October 2014 at the state, entity and cantonal levels. Will Snjezana Mirkovic, Aldina Fafulovic, Indira Bajramovic and other Roma women and men be able to run for ceratin state-level positions? OSCE calls for the immediate implementation of the Sejdic and Finci vs. BiH decission by the European Court of Human Rights in 2009 and the removal of discriminatory Constitutional provisions. OSCE also calls for greater respect of the BiH Law on Gender Equality and for greater political participation of women from the grassroots to the highest political levels across the country. The film is released by the OSCE Mission to BiH within the Best Practices for Roma Integration in the Wstern Balkans program with support of the OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights.
