Manon Muti and Holly Davis (#SOFJO)
Video Clip
This video, part of the OSCE RFoM Safety of Female Journalists Online project, features Manon Muti and Holly Davis. Women who face online harassment have little recourse when it comes to reporting, receiving support or legal redress. At best, they are encouraged to ignore the abuse and turn off the computer and at worst are blamed for the abuse or for undermining others’ free speech. What’s more, with technology constantly changing, the way in which women are attacked is also constantly changing.

End impunity for crimes against journalists
Video Clip
In 85 percent of cases concerning killing of journalists in the OSCE region during the past 25 years, the perpetrators and masterminds remain unpunished. Impunity leads to self-censorship and breeds further violence. Governments must step up their efforts to fully investigate and end impunity for murders of journalists. Safety of journalists, and ending impunity, is the Representative's first priority.
