Financial investigations
Video Clip
At its core, trafficking in human beings is a financially motivated crime: traffickers exploit vulnerability because of the profits they can make off their victims. The OSCE helps States build public-private partnerships for effective financial investigations and provides technical assistance to put these tools into action and finally break the business model of human trafficking.
Prosecution
Video Clip
Very few human traffickers are ever prosecuted and millions of victims never receive justice. To respond to this impunity, the OSCE launched a comprehensive strategy to help countries increase the number and the quality of human trafficking prosecutions.

The OSCE-GWNET Mentoring Program on Empowering Central Asian Women in Renewable Energy
Video Clip
To empower women as agents of change in the energy transition, in 2022 the OSCE and GWNET launched the very first mentoring program supporting Central Asian women employed in this increasingly important sector for the economies of the region. Following a competitive selection process, 30 women professionals now engage regularly with mentors from all over the world to discuss the challenges they face in the energy sector and identify best ways to address them and advance their careers. We asked them what challenges they face as women professionals in the energy sector, why it is important to advance women’s participation in this industry, and how the OSCE program is unlocking their potential as sustainable energy Ambassadors in Central Asia.
