Why is education a useful tool for conflict prevention?
Video Clip
Education can play a key role in the preventing conflict and is therefore a key focus of the High Commissioner on National Minorities. Among other things, education can foster a sense of opportunity and belonging, accommodate diversity and languages, and allow for multiple views on history.

A Short Story of the Bujanovac Department

A film on the development of the HCNM-supported multilingual Bujanovac Department of the Subotica Faculty of Economics of the University of Novi Sad, in Serbia. The Bujanovac Department is the first truly multilingual and multi-ethnic higher education institute in southern Serbia. The first students graduated in November 2015, which also marked the inauguration of the permanent premises of the Bujanovac Department.
