Improving housing conditions
Video Clip
An important part of the European Support to Roma Inclusion project is the improvement of housing conditions. Urban plans have been developed for 13 substandard settlements in 11 municipalities, and technical documentation for 15 infrastructure projects is being prepared in 14 municipalities. Based on the mapping of 583 sub-standard Roma settlements in Serbia, Geographic information system (GIS) was established to enable monitoring and improvement of Roma housing conditions.This Video is not available in English.
Sustainable employment

In order to create new employment opportunities for Roma, selected companies that have the potential for employing Roma, and Roma entrepreneurs, were provided support in equipment, as well as through mentoring and training. The selected 18 companies have employed 62 Roma. This Video is not available in English.
Gaining a Digital Edge: Freedom of Expression

A regional conference jointly organized by the OSCE Mission to Serbia, the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Central European University's School of Public Policies, and the SHARE Foundation was held from 16 to 18 October 2015 in Belgrade. This event was a follow-up to two previous conferences held in Kotor, Montenegro and Budapest, Hungary- where the informal #newmednet group was formed.

Serbia's Office for Human and Minority Rights offers internships for members of the Roma national minority group thanks to a programme implemented by the OSCE Mission to Serbia and funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). The aim is to strengthen employment chances for young members of national minorities by giving them real experience in the workplace.

Priboj Youth Office supports young people through various activities. The OSCE Mission to Serbia has supported its project „7 days of the library“, which dealt with multiculturalisam and multiethnicity, and the project „Solar Academy“, where young people learnt about renewable energy resources.
