Presentation by the Secretary General of the Annual Progress Report on the Implementation of the 2004 OSCE Action Plan for the Promotion of Gender Eequality. The Permanent Council adopted Decision No. 1409 on the extension of the deployment of OSCE observers to two Russian checkpoints on the Russian-Ukrainian border (Ukraine, interpretative statement 1; Slovenia-European Union, interpretative statement 2; Canada, interpretative statement 3; Russian Federation, interpretative statement 4; United Kingdom, interpretative statement 5; United States of America, interpretative statement 6). Russia's ongoing aggression against Ukraine and illegal occupation of Crimea. Deteriorating situation in Ukraine and continued non-implementation by the Ukrainian authorities of the Minsk agreements. Aggression of Azerbaijan against Artsakh and Armenia with the direct involvement of Turkey and foreign terrorist fighters (Armenia, Annex 1). Seventh anniversary of the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 on 17 July 2014. High-level international conference "Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity – Challenges and Opportunities", held in Tashkent on 15 and 16 July 2021. Parliamentary elections in the Czech Republic, to be held on 8 and 9 October 2021 (Czech Republic, Annex 3). Commemoration of the terrorist attack in Norway on 22 July 2011.
