The OSCE’s Mission to Moldova organized a two-day training course on access to healthcare by minority groups on 22 November 2019 in Chisinau. More than 25 representatives of the Agency for Interethnic Relations, the Ombudsman’s office and the Council for Preventing and Eliminating Discrimination and Ensuring Equality completed the course. The course is part of an effort to establish a coalition of public agencies implementing the National Strategy for Consolidation of Interethnic Relations.

CHISINAU, 25 November 2019- On the occasion of the annual 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence campaign, the OSCE will launch the campaign "End the Silence" in the Republic of Moldova and across South-Eastern and Eastern Europe. Its aim is to raise awareness about gender-based violence, in particular the issue of violence against women and girls. Gender-based violence concerns all of society, and governments have a responsibility to prevent and combat it.

The OSCE Mission to Moldova has handed over a report on a full technical assessment of the Gura Bicului-Bychok Bridge, which connects the two banks of the Dniester/Nistru River, to the Moldovan Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure. MURNAU AM STAFFELSEE, Germany, 6 November 2019 – A two-day conference on confidence-building measures in the Transdniestrian settlement process concluded yesterday in Murnau am Staffelsee, Bavaria, Germany. The conference offered an informal platform for in-depth exchanges between representatives from the Republic of Moldova and Transdniestria on the ways to move forward with the outstanding priorities from the “Berlin-plus” package and beyond. OSCE supported a workshop on the use of a methodological guide for an optional high school course “Holocaust: the History and Lessons of Life”. Over 30 history and civil education teachers attended the training course on 31 October and 1 November 2019 in Chisinau.
