How police officers should conduct interviews with persons suspected of being trafficked was the focus of a two-day workshop organized by the OSCE Mission to Montenegro and the Ministry of Interior’s Department for Combating Human Trafficking on 24 and 25 April in Budva.

OSCE Mission to Montenegro supports campaign "I choose the police"

Building a career in the police means building yourself, a team and a community that works for the safety of Montenegro and its citizens. In order for as many young people as possible, especially girls, to see themselves in this role, the Ministry of Interior’s Police Directorate and the Police Academy, with the support of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro, are launching the "I choose the police" campaign.
OSCE Mission to Montenegro assess capacities and needs of police dogs

From 27 to 31 March, the OSCE Mission to Montenegro, in co-operation with the OSCE Forum for Security Co-operation Support Section and the French Gendarmerie, organized an assessment of the capacities of the Montenegrin police in terms of use of K9 – police dogs to detect small arms and light weapons (SALW), ammunition, explosives, illegal drugs and currency.
OSCE Mission to Montenegro trains municipal electoral commissions on how to administer elections

Polling station staff have a vital role in administering elections and ensuring that voters, political parties and candidates have confidence in the election process, which is why the OSCE Mission to Montenegro and the State Election Commission held a training workshop for municipal electoral commissions on how to train polling station staff for the presidential election scheduled for 19 March.
