The OSCE-led Regional Medical Training in Support of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Operations successfully concluded at the Kazakhstan Peacekeeping Operations Centre on 28 August 2024 in Almaty.

From 1 to 15 August 2024, Tajikistan National Mine Action Center with the support of the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (POiD) organized a two-week summer rehabilitation workshop for landmine/ explosive remnants of war survivors in the resort area of Guliston, Sughd region.

Head of the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (POiD), Ambassador Willy Kempel, visited the OSCE-supported Regional Explosive Hazards Training Center (REHTC) on 12 July 2024.

A comprehensive two-week Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Level 1-2 training course, organized for 20 participants (all men) from Tajikistan’s Ministry of Defense and Border Troops, concluded successfully on 22 June 2024 in Khujand.

On 21 and 22 May 2024, two military advisors from the Permanent Mission of the Federal Republic of Germany to the OSCE in Vienna, the United Kingdom Delegation to the OSCE in Vienna, and one representative from the OSCE Conflict Prevention Center’s Forum for Security Co-operation Support Unit (CPC/FSC SU) visited the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (POiD) and OSCE-supported Regional Explosive Hazards Training Center (REHTC).

A delegation from the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Political-Military Affairs/Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement (PM/WRA) concluded a successful week-long program review visit to Tajikistan on May 26, 2024.

A week-long Regional Instructor Development Training program concluded on May 17, 2024, at the Regional Explosive Hazards Training Center (REHTC) of Tajikistan’s Ministry of Defense in Chimteppa, near Dushanbe.
