As part of ODIHR’s project “Advancing the Human Dimension of Security in Ukraine”, the Contact Point for Roma and Sinti Issues (CPRSI) has conducted a capacity building programme focused on human rights monitoring on Roma issues addressed for Roma civil society. At the end of the implementation of the monitoring activity, ODIHR organizes a closing workshop to enable the human rights defenders to present their work and share experiences and good practices.
Topics and goals
The event will provide human rights defenders in Ukraine with a platform to present their human rights monitoring work and to share experiences, positive aspects and lessons learned of relevance for both the Roma civil society and the human rights-focused organization in Ukraine.
The meeting will also present an opportunity to discuss the findings, conclusions and recommendations of the monitoring reports prepared under the capacity building programme. This will include a discussion on follow-up steps based on the reports presented and future advocacy goals.
The event will be conducted in Ukrainian and English, with simultaneous interpretation.
