Colonel Goran Vasilevski
Colonel Vasilevski authored and co-authored more than 20 published scientific papers in the field of intelligence and security, and as of 2018, he was assigned the title of Associate Professor by the Review Committee at the Military Academy "Mihajlo Apostolski."
Prior to becoming Head of the OSCE High-Level Planning Group on January 2022, Colonel Vasilevski took part in several high-level international security conferences, such as the first conference organized by the Geneva Center for Democratic Control of Army Forces (DCAF), held in the Parliament in Skopje.
Colonel Vasilevski has been a member of the Coordination Council of the Security-Intelligence community since January 2019. In February 2019, by the decision of th Government of the Republic of North Macedonia he was appointed as a Chairman of the Working Group for building state resilience from Hybrid Threats.
In November 2021, Colonel Vasilevski led the Military Service for Security and Intelligence delegation at the first Military Intelligence Committee at NATO Headquarters, Brussels, in which the Republic of North Macedonia had the role of a full NATO Member State.
Mandate
In accordance with the decisions of the 1994 Budapest Summit in relation to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Head of the High-Level Planning Group will make recommendation to the Chairperson-in-Office regarding a possible multinational OSCE peacekeeping force.
