Workshops on the Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation in Travel and Tourism

The workshops are intended for relevant groups in the travel and tourism industry such as hotel staff, tour guides, destination-manager and other stakeholders.
The one-day workshops will focus on three major areas:
- how to identify and react to child exploitation and to whom to turn for assistance within local institutional structures;
- how to apply the Code of Conduct to your Business; and
- the role of the Government, business community and civil society in the drafting of an Action Plan for the Code's implementation and in annual reporting as members of the Code's National Monitoring Committee.
These training workshops are part of the OSCE project on strengthening public-private co-operation in the prevention of trafficking and sexual exploitation of minors. The project has been financially supported by the Government of France and GTZ, an international co-operation enterprise of the German Federal Government.
