Working meetings with local self-government units on the implementation of the National Strategy on Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) at local level

The OSCE Mission to Skopje in co-operation with the National Committee on Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) and Counter-Terrorism (CT), and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MoIA) will organize a series of eight working meetings with the local self-government units on the implementation of the National Strategy on Countering Violent Extremism (2018 – 2022) and its Action Plan at the local level. The purpose is to inform the respective local self-government units on the implementation of the National CVE Strategy at local level, discuss the role of the Local Prevention Councils as a tool in the implementation of the CVE Action Plan and at the same time discuss challenges and opportunities during the implementation process. The first working meeting will take place in Kumanovo on 13 November, and the last one in Shtip on 14 December.
