Open call to CSOs and interested individuals for preparation of comments on the Canton Sarajevo draft subject curricula for pre-primary, primary and secondary general education, with a focus on gender perspectives in the curriculum
The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina (the Mission) has been advocating and supporting the education authorities in improving the inclusivity and quality of education, including through curriculum reform based on a Common Core Curriculum defined on student learning outcomes.
On 14 April, the Canton Sarajevo Ministry of Education published the draft subject curricula and invited all interested parties to submit their comments. The drafts are available through the cantonal online platform for curriculum at http://kurikulum.ks.gov.ba. In order to encourage public discussion and support the inclusion of gender perspectives in the subject curricula, the Mission invites CSOs and individuals to participate in the drafting of comments regarding the inclusion of issues related to gender equality.
