The Director of the Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Frane Maroevic, will participate in World Press Freedom Day 2016, held in Helsinki, Finland.
Maroevic will participate as a keynote speaker in a side event on press freedom in a Nordic modern media landscape, and in the event Two Countries, One Profession. A Dialogue Between Ukrainian and Russian Journalists. The Director will also represent the Office in the presentation of the Special Rapporteur's Joint Declaration.
Senior Adviser Andrey Rikhter will represent the Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media as a panelist in the session The New Frontiers in Disinformation.
