The OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Dunja Mijatović, will give the 2016 Harriman Lecture at the Harriman Institute, Columbia University.
The Annual W. Averell Harriman Lectures were inaugurated in 1989 to honor the memory of the Harriman Institute's principal benefactor by making a special intellectual contribution to the University community. Every year a preeminent scholar, political figure, or cultural luminary related in some way to Harriman Institute of study, is invited to deliver a major address for the entire University community and many other guests.
