The six-day training session will focus on strengthening the capacity of prosecutors on international human rights standards (including OSCE human dimension commitments) and their implementation in Kyrgyzstan. The training seminar for 24 senior assistant prosecutors with up to five years of working experience will be conducted by national and international experts. This activity will be implemented within the framework of the OSCE CiB project “Addressing human rights in closed facilities in Kyrgyzstan through nationally owned human rights mechanisms”, within the framework of the long-term co-operation between the Training Centre of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kyrgyzstan and OSCE Centre in Bishkek. Similar training sessions take place on 23-29 May 2012 for prosecutors with up to five years of working experience and will be repeated in June for the junior staff of the prosecutor’s offices.
