Roundtable on human trafficking in the south of Kyrgyzstan

Organized within the framework of the OSCE’s project on preventing trafficking in human beings in southern Kyrgyzstan, the event will focus on declaring the results of the OSCE-supported survey on human trafficking challenges that emerged from the tragic events of June 2010.
Disscussions will cover current measures on how to combat human trafficking in the country (to be elaborated on considering the results of the survey), and how these results can be included into the newly developed 2012-2015 National Action Plan to Combat Trafficking in Human Beings in the Kyrgyz Republic.
State officials, including law enforcement agencies, judicial authorities, local government officials, representatives of the civil society will participate at the roundtable.
