Training for border guards of Osh Province on the most recent laws on border and the code of ethics of border guards

A two-day training focused on introducing an updated code of conduct and the ethics of border guard officials as to how they should interact with border area residents during border incidents, will be held for 20 senior border guard officers from the Osh Province-based border division.
Additional copies of the training manual will be handed out to participants for further distribution among lower-ranking officers. The training will be conducted by the non-governmental organization “Ferghana Valley Lawyers Without Borders”. The training material was developed jointly by the aforementioned NGO and Kyrgyzstan’s Border Guard Service in co-operation with Kyrgyzstan’s Migration and Passport Control Services.
Similar trainings will take place for senior border guard officers on 21-22 November in the Jalal-Abad province and on 24-25 November in the Batken province.
