A three-day training-seminar will focus on operational-investigative activities’ features during drug crimes detection and prosecution paying closer attention to controlled delivery and controlled buy. The event is a part of the OSCE Centre in Astana’s activities to support Kazakhstan’s efforts to prevent drug trafficking. Fifteen representatives of Kazakhstan’s law enforcement agencies involved in countering drug business will learn about best international practices in investigative activities during drug crime detection a and prosecution. International experts from Georgia and Lithuania will focus on their countries’ experience in controlled delivery and controlled buy activities. The practical exercise envisaged will enhance participants’ skills in investigative activities they carry out in real life.
