Roundtable on "Regulatory aspects of the implementation of the Aarhus Convention in Kazakhstan”

The round table will assist to the discussion of the preliminary version of the National Report on the Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-making and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters and the draft Regulatory decisions of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On some issues of the legal practice by the courts on disputes in the field of environmental protection in civil matters ".

The objective of the event is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the preliminary version of the report and the draft law to reach a consensus and to identify possible solutions to the issues to fulfil the obligations of the Aarhus Convention in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
