In marking the 20th anniversary of the Justice Ministry's Legislation Institute, the main purpose of this conference is to increase dialogue on legal issues among legal scholars and practitioners, strengthen international co-operation between the Legislation Institute and its counterparts across the CIS and OSCE regions, as well as exchange opinions on current trends and problems in developing, implementing, and monitoring legislative acts. The conference will cover a vast spectrum of legal areas, such as administrative law and procedures, constitutional foundations, implementation of the constitution in practice, criminal justice and penal policies, tort law, legal regulation of taxation and business, etc.
The conference will bring together government representatives, parliamentarians, legal practitioners, and academics, as well as international legal experts from Russia, Ukraine, and other countries.
