OSCE Centre in Astana, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of Republic of Kazakhstan, Akimat of the Southern Kazakhstan Oblast, Office of the Co-ordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities, OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, UNESCO, UN WOMEN, and local civil society organizations.
This event is aimed at promoting efficient migration management strategies at the local level in Kazakhstan through dialogue, the exchange of good practices, and the implementation of an improved methodology for conducting labour needs assessments.
The event is expected to gather 65 participants representing government authorities and non-governmental organizations from Kazakhstan, local ethnic-culture centres, international and local experts, as well as migration officials from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The event is a part of the OSCE Centre in Astana’s activities aimed at promoting effective labour migration policies and improving practices in the area of labour migration management in Kazakhstan.
