Trial Monitoring: Manual for Non-governmental Organizations
This publication is intended to help NGOs in conducting trial monitoring aimed at increasing public awareness about the functioning of the judicial system. It contains examples of foreign experience in application of this diagnostic tool. On the basis of methods developed by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, and with due consideration of Ukrainian realities, the edition provides advice on organization of trail monitoring, its implementation in Ukraine and advocacy of the results. The publication also contains a sample of a monitoring questionnaire and an example of a filled questionnaire. List of recommended references will help to better understand the problematics of the mechanism of monitoring and evaluation of the functioning of judicial system. The publication is designed for the managers and representatives of NGOs.
