OSCE Mission to Skopje trains police officers on collecting intelligence data on terrorism

The OSCE Mission to Skopje in co-operation with the Interior Ministry holds a specialized training course for police officers in Skopje from 27 to 31 May 2013 on collecting operational intelligence data on terrorism.

Some 25 newly recruited police officers will be trained on the financing of terrorism, methods of intelligence data collection, and its efficient use to prevent and combat terrorism.The training is delivered by three experts from the Turkish Intelligence Academy (ISAK).

The course is part of the Mission’s activities to strengthen the capacity of the Interior Ministry to deal with transnational threats.
