The OSCE Mission to Serbia, established in 2001, works with the Serbian Government and authorities at all levels, interested individuals, groups and organizations in five main areas:

  • rule of law and human rights
  • law enforcement
  • democratization
  • media
  • economy and environment.

The Head of Mission and his deputy are supported by the Office of the Head of Mission, which includes the Political Affairs/Reporting Unit and the Press and Public Information Unit.

The Press and Public Information Unit is the Mission's point of contact for press and public enquiries, and runs public information and outreach events that support the Mission's programmes. Through outreach, it brings the Mission's work closer to relevant groups, especially students and young people across Serbia. The Unit is also in charge of organizing the Mission's annual Person of the Year award.

Information provided on the Mission's web pages gives an overview of its work. For more information, please contact the Mission's Acting Spokesperson, Ivana Jovanovic, using the contact information provided on the right.
