The purpose of this presentation is to inform public procurement bidders from the private sector in the region about the changes in the new Public Procurement Law and its functions.
Participants will be acquainted with their rights to information in a bidding procedure, how to appeal decisions and with the general work and purpose of the Public Procurement Office.
Public Procurement Corruption Map in the Republic of Serbia, a publication developed by the OSCE Mission to Serbia and used by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to develop the Public Procurement Law, will be distributed during the event. It has vastly contributed to the improvement of the transparency, efficiency and oversight of the Serbian public procurement process, and the functioning of the appeal process for bidders.
Ivan Esquiva, expert-advisor on anti-corruption at the OSCE Mission to Serbia, will speak at the opening of the event. Miloš Jović and Mladen Alempijević, advisors at the Public Procurement Office, will conduct the presentation.
