OSCE Mission to Serbia issues public call for project proposals on security sector reform
The OSCE Mission to Serbia invites civil society organizations, research and academic institutions to submit project proposals addressing a variety of aspects of security sector reform.
The OSCE Mission to Serbia supports increased participation of civil society in security policy development, implementation and its contribution to the overall democratization of the security sector.
Civil society organizations can participate in security-related policy processes by providing input to strategic and legal documents, exercising public oversight over the policy implementation and advocating for improvements and changes in a certain policy. By doing so, they can improve the process of policy-making and implementation, thereby making the functioning of institutions more accountable and transparent.
This activity is part of the Mission’s project on consolidating the democratization process in the security sector in Serbia, which is funded by the Government of Sweden.
Detailed information on the public call for proposals, including the criteria for interested civil society organizations is available at: //www.osce.org/serbia/127091.
