The Independent Journalists’ Association of Serbia (NUNS), the Journalists’ Association of Serbia (UNS), the Independent Journalists’ Association of Vojvodina (NDNV) and the OSCE Mission to Serbia
The debate, “Self-censorship: Invisible Threat to Media Freedom”, will gather journalists, editors, representatives of civil society organizations and academia, as well as other media professionals and citizens. The debate will foster a wide exchange of experiences and discussions on self-censorship which is recognized worldwide as one of the greatest challenges and threats to media freedom.
The event will be opened by Paula Thiede, Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia alongside Olivera Kovačevic, RTS journalist, Dragoljub Žarković, Vreme weekly editor-in-chief, and Radomir Diklić, Director of BETA news agency. The moderator will be Branko Čečen, Director of Centre for Investigative Journalism Serbia.
