This interactive study course on energy security and environmental democracy will gather 20 high school students from Novi Pazar, Sjenica, Tutin, Nova Varoš, Priboj and Prijepolje. The aim of the training is to develop the competences of youth leaders on environmental democracy issues that will enable their stronger engagement and activism to support sustainable development in their communities. The programme will enhance environmental knowledge, awareness and skills of young people in the field of renewable energy resources and energy efficiency.
One of the first eco-friendly buildings for public use in Serbia, Eco Centre Radulovacki, will host the event, and participants will also visit Kovilj Petrovaradin Swamp, a nature reserve located on the bank of the Danube River.
