This two-day event will address topics such as plea bargaining, summary proceedings and prosecutorial discretion in legislation and practice in Serbia and other countries of the region. Participants will include legal experts, judges, prosecutors and defence lawyers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia.
An essay collection called “Simplified forms of procedure in criminal matters: regional criminal procedure legislation and experiences in practice” will be presented at the conference.
