The incinerator at Spittelau is one of three thermal waste treatment plants in Vienna. Its uniqueness lies in the facade artistically designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser and in the combination of waste, energy and art. With a total capacity of 460 MW, the plant is the second largest heating grid in the city of Vienna.
