Call for applications: Training course for women in water management

Women in water management roles from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan are invited to apply to participate in a one-week capacity development programme taking place in Denmark from 22-27 November 2015.
The training aims to help women advance their career opportunities in the field of water resources development and management. The programme will include a combination of formal training and “hands-on” interaction with managers in public authorities and in the water industry. Successful applicants will learn from a number of training events, and be paired with a senior Danish manager as mentor for the following year.
Travel, board and lodging will be covered by the OSCE. To apply, applicants are requested to submit their professional backgrounds, including full biographical data and CV, a letter of motivation for participating in the event, and contact details of at least two references. The deadline for submissions is 12 October, 2015.
