The fourth Border Security and Management for Senior Leadership course: Completion of module two

Twenty-seven officers and managers of various border security and law enforcement agencies from fifteen countries across the OSCE region completed the second module of the one-year Border Security and Management for Senior Leadership course on 29 April 2021. Due to the pandemic and the restrictions on travel, the traditional face-to-face phase of the second module was held via video teleconferencing.
OSCE concludes fourth EU-funded training course on sustained field operation capacity for Tajik rescuers in Khujand city

On 23 April 2021, representatives of Tajikistan’s Committee of Emergency Situations and Civil Defence (Committee) in Khujand city of the Sughd region completed a four-week training course on sustained field operation capacity. The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe, in co-operation with the Committee, organized the training course, which was funded by the European Union.

A four-week training course on sustained field operation capacity for border officers of Tajikistan’s Border Troops was completed on 8 April in the Tursunzoda District. The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe in co-operation with Tajikistan’s Border Troops organized the course, which was funded by the European Union.
OSCE Border Management Staff College concludes its 28th Staff Course

The OSCE Border Management Staff College (BMSC) concluded its 28th Staff Course on 24 March 2021. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions on travel, this particular course was conducted only for local Tajik border security and management officials.
Twenty Tajik border officers complete the first round of OSCE-EU organized operational planning course

Twenty border officers from Tajikistan’s Border Troops completed a three-week operational planning course on 5 March 2021 in the Hamadoni district of the Khatlon region. The course was organized by the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe in co-operation with the Border Troops and funded by the European Union.
European Union and OSCE support the start of construction works at Tajikistan’s Committee of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense Training Centre

High-level representatives from Tajikistan’s Committee of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense (CoESCD), the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe and the European Union Delegation to Tajikistan participated in the official start of renovation work on the CoESCD Training Centre on 19 January 2021 in Karatag, Shahrinav district. The renovation will turn the CoESCD Training Centre into a facility providing training where the Committee will be able to strengthen the capacity of responders on how to react to natural disasters in border regions.

Due to the COVID-29 pandemic and the travel restrictions, the traditional face-to-face phase of the first module was held via video teleconferencing.
