Parliamentary Elections, 9 December 2012

Following an invitation from the Permanent Mission of Romania to the International Organizations in Vienna to observe the 9 December 2012 parliamentary elections and in accordance with its mandate, ODIHR undertook a Needs Assessment Mission and recommended the deployment of a Limited Election Observation Mission.

Presidential Election, 22 November and 6 December 2009

Following an invitation to observe the presidential election, and in line with the recommendations of a needs assessment mission, ODIHR deployed a limited election observation mission for the 22 November presidential election in Romania.

European Parliament Elections, 4-7 June 2009

Following invitations from the 27 member states of the European Union (EU) to observe the 4-7 June elections to the European Parliament, ODIHR deployed an expert group to 15 EU member states from 11 to 30 May.

Parliamentary and Presidential Elections, 28 November and 12 December 2004

In response to an invitation by the Permanent Mission of Romania to the OSCE, ODIHR deployed an election assessment mission for the 28 November parliamentary and presidential elections in Romania.

Parliamentary and Presidential Elections, 26 November and 10 December 2000

On 1 November, the OSCE /ODIHR established an election observation mission in Romania to observe the 26 November and 10 December 2000 presidential and parliamentary elections.

Parliamentary and Presidential Elections, 3 and 17 November 1996

Following notification from the Permanent Mission to the OSCE that Romania welcomed the presence of international observers, an ODIHR monitoring mission was conducted in respect of the parliamentary and presidential Elections held on 3 November and the subsequent presidential second ballot held on 17 November.
