Early Parliamentary Elections, 17 September 2011

On 4 August 2011, in accordance with OSCE commitments, the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Latvia to the OSCE invited ODIHR to observe the 17 September early parliamentary (Saeima) elections. In accordance with its mandate, ODIHR deployed a Limited Election Observation Mission (LEOM) for these elections.

Parliamentary Elections, 2 October 2010

Following an invitation from Latvia's Permanent Mission to the OSCE and the recommendation of a needs assessment mission conducted on 14-16 July 2010, ODIHR deployed a limited election observation mission on 6 September to observe the parliamentary elections on 2 October.

European Parliament Elections, 4-7 June 2009

Following invitations from the 27 member states of the European Union (EU) to observe the 4-7 June elections to the European Parliament, ODIHR deployed an expert group to 15 EU member states from 11 to 30 May.

Parliamentary Elections, 7 October 2006

In response to an invitation from Latvia, ODIHR deployed a limited election observation mission for the 7 October parliamentary elections.

Parliamentary Elections, 5 October 2002

At the invitation of the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ODIHR established an Election Observation Mission (EOM) to observe the parliamentary elections on 5 October.

Parliamentary Elections/Referendum, 3 October 1998

Following an invitation from the Latvian Foreign Minister, ODIHR conducted an assessment of the Latvian electoral arrangements for the 3 October parliamentary elections and national referendum.
