ODIHR publishes a number of documents for any particular election observation mission, including:

• Needs assessment reports, which detail the type of mission to be deployed;
• Interim reports, which provide insights into the issues a mission deals with prior to election day;
• Preliminary statements, which are released the day after a mission and provide the ODIHR's preliminary conclusions about the conduct of an election; and
• Final reports, which are published after an in-depth analysis of the election observation and which also provide recommendations with respect to the electoral framework.
