Recruitment of National Support Staff for the Election Observation Mission to Azerbaijan

In anticipation of an official invitation to observe the presidential election in Azerbaijan scheduled to take place in October 2013, and based on the findings and conclusions of the OSCE/ODIHR Needs Assessment Mission, the OSCE/ODIHR has decided to deploy an Election Observation Mission (EOM). As a result, the OSCE/ODIHR is looking to recruit support staff for the below mentioned positions:

Programmatic positions:

  • EOM/AZB Executive Assistant to Head of Mission (1 position)
  • EOM/AZB Administrative Assistant to Deputy Head of Mission (1 position)
  • EOM/AZB Senior Election Analyst Assistant (1 position)
  • EOM/AZB Senior Legal Analyst Assistant (1 position)
  • EOM/AZB Senior Political Analyst Assistant (1 position)
  • EOM/AZB Senior Media Analyst Assistant (1 position)
  • EOM/AZB Media Monitors (7 positions)
  • EOM/AZB Senior Long Term Observer Co-ordinator Assistant (1 position)

Administrative positions:

  • EOM/AZB Operations Expert Assistant (1 position)
  • EOM/AZB ICT Assistant (1 position)
  • EOM/AZB Procurement and Contracting Officer Assistant (1 position)
  • EOM/AZB Security Expert Assistant (1 position)
  • EOM/AZB Finance Officer Assistant (1 position)
  • EOM/AZB Front Desk Assistant (1 position)
  • EOM/AZB Drivers with vehicles (4 positions)
  • EOM/AZB Office Cleaner (1 position)

Anticipated employment start date: 24 August 2013 (for administrative positions) and 1 September 2013 (for programmatic positions).

Employment duration: approximately 6-7 weeks (for most positions). The selected candidates should commit to being available for the duration of the EOM.

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Remuneration/salary: Remuneration will depend on the qualifications and experience, in accordance with established OSCE rates.

Candidates for Drivers with vehicles position should indicate the CAR MODEL, CAR YEAR OF PRODUCTION and number of doors of the vehicle in the CV.

The working language of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission is English.
