In addition to annual the Human Dimension Implementation Meeting, the OSCE organizes three Supplementary Human Dimension Meetings every year. These meetings usually last 1 1/2 working days and are devoted to key substantive concerns raised at previous implementation meetings or review conferences.

The topics to be discussed at the meetings are decided by the OSCE Chairman-in-Office in consultation with participating States, ODIHR, and other OSCE institutions.

All Supplementary Human Dimension Meetings are open to NGOs and international organizations.
