Activities

  • Technical assistance to OSCE states on request in support of drafting anti-terrorism legislation and strengthening existing legislation;
  • Assisting OSCE states on request to support implementation of relevant UN Security Council resolutions, UN conventions and protocols;
  • Projects related to promoting human rights, tolerance and multiculturalism;
  • Projects related to preventing violent conflict and promoting peaceful settlement of disputes;
  • Analysis of the root causes of terrorism and acceptable methods for combating those causes;
  • Liaison and co-ordination with other human-rights organizations working in a similar field;
  • Development and implementation of projects specifically related to preventing and combating terrorism;
  • Analysis of anti-terrorism legislation and its impact on human rights; and
  • Monitoring developments related to the fight against terrorism.
